Travel Tale (operated by Al Sahm Al Dhahabi Portal) is committed to protecting your privacy. This summary explains what the Travel Tale app and website handle. The website (traveltale.app) is a read-only guide — it does not require an account.
Information we handle
The website serves public attraction, city, and experience content. We use Plausible for cookieless aggregate visit analytics, and Microsoft Clarity for product analytics — Clarity records anonymised session replays and heatmaps so we can see how the site is used and where people get stuck. Clarity sets first-party cookies (_clck, _clsk) and processes data on Microsoft servers; form fields and inputs are masked by default and recordings are retained for up to 13 months. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. The Travel Tale app may collect account details (e.g. phone number for sign-in), saved places, and usage needed to provide audio guides and subscriptions.
How we use it
To provide and improve the guide, deliver the audio-guide experience, and process subscriptions and vouchers in the app.
Your rights & data deletion
You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time. Account deletion is available in the app (Settings → Delete Account) and via our request form.

Opting out of session recording
To opt out of Microsoft Clarity session recording on this site, run window.clarity("consent", false) in your browser console, or block *.clarity.ms at the network level. The Travel Tale mobile app does not use Clarity.
